Dee Ann's Story
Its an amazing life My book of life has many chapters After graduating high school I almost went into the Marines This made my daddy mad because he was a Navy and a Airforce man So needless to say I changed my mind. I decided to be a at-home mother That lasted for about 6 months until I decided it would takes 2 income to exist. I then went to nursing school which I never completed because they wanted me to train in a children's burn unit I had 3 children and was now a single parent so decided to go take a computer programming class Completed with flying colors but because of all the pre-written programs could not get a job Finally got a job as the Head Bookkeeper at a very large law firm I worked there for 18 years on castastrophic injury claims only If it was not worth 1 million we did not accept the case Met OJ's attorney during the OKC bombing ...Expand for more
as we were working on the fertilizer company case I was actually 2 blocks away from the bombing and we lost all of our plate glass windows and a lot of roofing I then went to work for Homeland as a store manager, while working parttime for the law office training several people to take over my job as Petition Clerk Deposition Clerk Evidence Clerk etc then I accepted a job with a smaller law firm in OKC and have been here for approximately 6 years I also raised another child that was given to me when his grandparents died He was 9 years old and somehow I was able to keep him until he graduated highschool and went off on his own Could not do that now for all the money in the world the way the government is I am remarried to an Apache Indian man that I have been with for 12 years We make a cute couple and we are great grandparents
